Fossil Glyptodont Scute - High Quality Rosette Armor Plate, Florida (EDI-86)

A high-quality fossil glyptodont scute — personally found by me scuba diving in a Florida river.

This is a stunner: large, thick, and beautifully preserved, with the classic rosette pattern crisp and complete. Glyptodonts were giant armadillo relatives the size of a small car, and their bony armor scutes are among the most recognizable — and most wanted — Florida Ice Age fossils.

Scutes this clean don't come along every dive. A centerpiece for the armor collection or a standout in the curio cabinet.
